What it does

The niche is set into the pool wall during concrete construction and holds the light fixture housing in place, giving the light a sealed pocket to sit in against the shell. This niche has a 3/4 inch top hub, which fits Pentair Amerlite or IntelliBrite pool lights.

The housing is stainless steel with a brass hub, measuring 12.5 inches in overall diameter, 9.86 inches inside diameter and 8.02 inches deep. It includes internal and external bonding lugs, the connection points used to bond the niche into the pool equipotential grounding system.
