Product details

The Val-Pak V38-140 is a top manifold with a built-in air relief screen made for Pentair/American Products FNS Plus and American Products Titan DE filters.

What it does

The manifold sits at the top of the filter tank and directs water through the DE grid assembly, with an air relief screen built into the top of the manifold to bleed off trapped air during startup. Air trapped at the top of the tank after backwashing can slow filtration until it works free, and the built-in relief screen gives it a path out sooner.
