How the JetAir range works

Hayward JetAir hydrotherapy assemblies are built around interchangeable jet nozzles. The same fitting body can take different nozzles, which is what lets a builder set up several plumbing and hydro-massage arrangements from one product family rather than specifying a different jet for every position.

Threads and the air tube

Both ends are 1-1/2 inch, one male pipe thread and one female. The source writes them as MPT and FPT in one place and MIP and FIP in another, which are the same threads under two naming conventions. The 18 inch air supply tube comes with the fitting.
