The Jandy R3001900 is the plumbing bypass assembly for the AE-Ti heat pump range, covering the AE1500, AE2000, AE2500 and AE3000. It is the genuine Jandy replacement part and arrives as a complete assembly.

What a bypass does

A heat pump wants a particular amount of water through its heat exchanger. On most installations the pump can move more than that, so a bypass sends part of the flow past the exchanger rather than through it. Getting that right is what keeps flow and pressure at the heater inside the range the unit was designed around.
