The Pentair 473777 is the control board bezel for the UltraTemp pool and spa heat pump. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What it is

The bezel is the molded surround on the cabinet that frames the control board. It holds the board in position and shields it from the weather, which on a heat pump means full sun and rain for the life of the unit.

When to replace it

Plastic that has been outdoors for years goes brittle and chalky. Once the bezel cracks, the board behind it loses its shield, so replacing the bezel is worth doing before it becomes a control board problem. This listing is the bezel alone; the board is a separate part.
