Product details

The Pentair 473121 is the 1/2 in. single direction dryer line for UltraTemp heat pumps. It fits all UltraTemp models except the 120HC and the 140HC, and is also listed for the ThermalFlo heat pump.

What a dryer line does

The drier sits in the refrigerant circuit and pulls moisture and debris out of the refrigerant before it reaches the metering device. Left unchanged after a circuit has been opened, contamination works its way through the system and shortens the life of the compressor.

Single direction, not reversible

This is the one way part. Units that reverse refrigerant flow use a reversible drier instead, and Pentair sells that separately for the UltraTemp 120HC. Confirm which model you have before ordering.
