The Hayward HPX11024258 is the replacement HP switch for HeatPro pool heat pumps. It is the genuine Hayward part.

What the switch does

A heat pump watches its own refrigerant pressures and shuts itself down before they reach a level that would damage the compressor. The HP switch is the device on the high side that makes that call. When it fails, the unit either locks out on a fault it should not be seeing, or loses the protection it is supposed to provide.

Before you order

HeatPro units carry more than one pressure switch, and the low pressure switch is a separate Hayward part number. Read the fault the unit is reporting and identify the switch on the circuit before you buy. Because the part sits on the sealed refrigerant side, the replacement is work for a qualified technician.
