Raypak Genuine OEM Pressure Switch 11PSI, 009133F

The Raypak 009133F is the genuine 11 psi pressure switch for the R185A, R265A and R335A pool heaters.

What it does

The pressure switch is a safety interlock. Before the heater is allowed to light, the switch has to see enough water pressure through the heat exchanger to prove that water is actually moving. Without that proof the control locks the burner out, which is exactly what you want: firing a heater with no flow is how heat exchangers get destroyed.

Diagnosing before you replace

Because the switch is watching flow, most heaters that will not fire have a flow problem rather than a switch problem. Check the filter pressure, the pump basket, the valve positions and the water level first. If flow through the heater is genuinely good and it still will not light, the switch itself is the likely fault.

Match the 11 psi rating when ordering. A switch with the same body but a different pressure setting will produce intermittent faults rather than fixing them.
