Product details

The Raypak Protege RPCFP100 is a complete above ground pool filtration system, sold under Raypak part number 018200. It puts a 100 square foot cartridge filter and a 1 HP pump on a single base, already matched to each other.

Why a matched system

Buying a pump and a filter separately means guessing whether the two suit each other. A system takes that question away: the pump Raypak fitted is the pump the filter was sized for, and it arrives plumbed as a unit rather than as parts to assemble from scratch.

Cartridge filtration

With 100 square feet of cartridge area there is a lot of surface to load up before the pressure climbs, which means longer stretches between cleanings. There is no sand to change out and no media to backwash away, so maintenance is a matter of pulling the element and rinsing it.

Power

The 1 HP pump runs on 110/115V, standard household power, which is what most above ground installations have available at the pool.
