Product details
The Waterway 411-9120 is a 2 inch 90 degree sweep elbow with a spigot end, for pool and spa PVC plumbing.
Why a sweep instead of a standard 90
A standard elbow makes water turn a hard corner. A sweep carries it around a long radius instead, which is easier on the pump and easier on your electric bill over a season. On suction lines in particular, where every bit of restriction is felt at the pump, sweeps are worth the small extra cost.
The spigot end
SPG means the end is made to pipe dimensions rather than socket dimensions. It goes straight into the socket of the next fitting, so you can turn a corner without adding a coupling and a second glue joint. The other end takes pipe in the usual way.
