The Jandy R0357700 is the replacement filter top spacer, the genuine Jandy part.

What it does

A spacer is a dimension part. It holds the internal filter assembly at the height the tank was designed around, so that when the lid goes back on everything is clamped where it should be. Nothing about it looks important until it is broken.

Why a broken one matters

Once a spacer cracks or goes missing, the internals are free to shift under flow. Water then finds a path around the filter media instead of through it, and the pool goes cloudy while the filter appears to be running perfectly. Replace a cracked spacer rather than closing the tank over it.
