Product details

The Hayward SPX1082EGR is the square skimmer cover in grey for the in ground Skim Master skimmers, models SP1070 and SP1071. It is the genuine Hayward part, molded in plastic like the cover it replaces.

Why covers get replaced

Skimmer covers live in the deck, under sun, foot traffic and pool chemistry, and they eventually crack, fade or break at the edge. That leaves an open hole beside the pool, so it is a repair worth doing as soon as the cover starts to go.

Before you order

Hayward builds both square and round covers, in more than one color. Check that the opening in your deck is square, and that grey is the shade you want, since this is the grey version. The collar the cover seats into is a separate part if that is damaged as well.
