Product details

The Pentair FNS Plus 180007, model FNSP36, is a 36 sq. ft. fiberglass D.E. filter rated for 72 gpm, built for in-ground pools.

What it does

Filtering with diatomaceous earth removes particles as small as 5 microns, far finer than a sand filter can catch, by passing water through a series of D.E. coated grids. The FNS Plus uses curved vertical grids that maximize filtration area, which adds dirt trapping capacity and extends the time between cleanings.

Construction and maintenance

The tank is chemical resistant, fiberglass reinforced polypropylene for strength and long service life. A top manifold design pairs with a Service-Ease grid pack so the full grid pack can be removed and serviced without disturbing other components. A high flow manual air relief valve works with continuous internal air relief to maintain efficient filtration and prevent over-pressurization, and a 2 in. drain makes cleanout easier.

Before you order

This is an almond colored, full grid, in-ground filter, part number 180007. It requires the use of a separate backwash valve or adapters, which are not included.
