The Hayward HAXNNO1930 is the complete connector kit for attaching plumbing to a Hayward H-Series heater. It is supplied as a set, with two of every piece so both the inlet and the outlet are covered.
What is in the box
One set of 2 HAXNUT1930 union nuts, one set of 2 HAXNIP1930 CPVC nipple connectors and one set of 2 HAXFOR1930 union o-rings. Bought separately, those three part numbers are what you would be ordering anyway, and the kit removes the risk of getting two of them and discovering the third is missing with the system drained.
Sizes
The nipple is 1-1/2" Slip x 2" Spg, which is why the kit works with either 1-1/2 in. or 2 in. plumbing. That single detail is what makes it a general purpose H-Series connection kit rather than a size specific one.
Why CPVC
The nipple connectors are chlorinated PVC. The plumbing right at a heater outlet sees the hottest water in the system, and CPVC keeps its pressure rating where standard PVC starts to give. Using the specified material at the heater is the difference between a joint that lasts and one that deforms in a hot summer.
