Why hang the pole
A telescopic pole left leaning against a wall or lying on the deck picks up grit in the clamps and slowly bows. Hanging it keeps it straight, keeps the locking collars clean, and gets it off the ground where it is not a trip hazard. The same hanger takes the brush, leaf rake or vacuum head that goes on the end of it.
