Product details

The Hayward RCX97400 is the replacement motor assembly for the SharkVAC robotic pool cleaner, model RC9740. It is the original Hayward part, supplied as a complete assembly.

When the motor is the problem

The motor assembly is what drives the cleaner across the pool and pulls water through the filter. If the unit powers up but will not track, or runs without moving water, the motor is the usual cause once a jammed impeller, a clogged filter and a damaged cable have been ruled out.
