The Hayward RCX43000 is the genuine replacement motor unit for the RC9990 TigerShark QC robotic pool cleaner. It is the 4 hour Quick Clean version, running on 24VDC from the cleaner power supply.

What the motor unit does

The motor unit is the working core of the robot. It drives the cleaner across the pool and runs the pump that pulls water and debris through the cartridges. When the cleaner stops moving, stops climbing or stops picking up debris while the power supply still shows power, the motor unit is the usual cause.

Before you order

This unit is specific to the TigerShark QC, the Quick Clean model with the 4 hour cycle. Confirm your cleaner is the RC9990 TigerShark QC. Standard TigerShark cleaners use a different motor unit.
