The Pentair PP1018 is a seal and gasket overhaul kit for 1-1/2 HP PE and P2R full rated pumps and 2 HP PEA and P2RA up rated pumps.

What an overhaul kit is for

A pump that has started weeping under the motor, or that has been apart for other work, needs more than the shaft seal replaced. The gaskets disturbed getting to the seal do not reliably reseal once they have been compressed and pulled apart. The kit groups those parts so one order covers the job.
