Which pumps

EQK1500, EQKT1500, EQW300 and EQ1500, plus the EQK1000 in its 50 Hz version. These are the 15 HP machines in the EQ Series line.

Why the impeller matters

The impeller is what moves the water. On a commercial pump it also has to pass whatever gets through the strainer, so a damaged or partly blocked impeller shows up quickly as lost flow and pressure across filters, heaters and features downstream. A fresh assembly restores the pump to its designed output.

While it is apart

The seal package, diffuser, diffuser o-ring and seal plate o-ring all live in the same section of the pump. They are separate parts, and the same teardown reaches them, so it is worth checking them before closing the pump back up.
