Product details

The Pentair 523102 is the spacer kit for the iChlor salt chlorine generator. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What a spacer does

A salt chlorinator cell sits in the return plumbing, so taking it out leaves a gap in the pipe. The spacer kit fills that gap. With it fitted, the pool can circulate normally while the cell is off the system.

When it earns its keep

Two situations come up most. The first is winter, where owners in cold climates pull the cell for the off season. The second is service, where the cell has gone away for testing or replacement and the pool still has to run. In both cases the spacer keeps the plumbing intact instead of leaving the run open.

Match the model

This kit is sized for the iChlor. The larger IntelliChlor cells are a different platform with their own parts, and a separate Pentair kit handles adapting between the two.
