Product details

Pentair part 523100 is the replacement flow switch for the iChlor salt chlorine generator. It is the genuine Pentair part.

The flow switch is the safety that confirms water is moving through the cell. When it fails, sticks or fouls with debris, the iChlor reports no flow even with the pump running and stops producing chlorine. Replacing the switch restores the signal without replacing the cell.

This switch is specific to the iChlor. Pentair IntelliChlor systems use a different flow switch kit, so match the model before ordering. Shut off the pump and the power to the chlorinator before doing the swap.

Does this fit the IntelliChlor?
No. This is the iChlor flow switch. The IntelliChlor uses a separate flow switch replacement kit.
How do I know the flow switch is bad?
If the pump is running, the filter is clean and the cell still reports no flow, the switch is the first suspect. Check for debris on it before replacing.
Does it come with the cell?
No. It is the flow switch only, for a cell that is otherwise working.
Do I need to shut things down to replace it?
Yes. Turn off the pump and power to the chlorinator, relieve pressure, then swap the switch.
