The Pentair ENCLLX is the black plastic enclosure for the LX10 power center. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Enclosure only

This listing is the housing on its own. Every board, relay and internal component inside the LX10 is a separate part number, so if the automation itself has failed this is not the fix.

Why the shell fails first

An equipment pad enclosure takes years of direct sun, sprinkler spray and heat cycling. The plastic chalks and gets brittle, the hinge or the latch breaks, and eventually the door cracks or is simply gone. That is a common state to find an older power center in, and it happens well before the electronics inside stop working.

Why it is worth doing

The enclosure is what stands between live automation components and rain, irrigation overspray, insects and anything a curious hand can reach. Once it is cracked or open, a cosmetic problem turns into corroded terminals and an electrical hazard. Replacing the shell costs a fraction of replacing the power center it protects, and any work inside the enclosure should be done with the power off.

Does this include any of the electronics?
No. ENCLLX is the plastic enclosure alone. The boards, relays and other internal components of the LX10 power center are separate parts.
What does it fit?
The Pentair LX10 power center.
Why would I replace just the enclosure?
Automation housings sit outdoors and take constant UV. The plastic chalks, goes brittle and eventually cracks or loses a door long before the electronics inside fail. Replacing the shell is far cheaper than replacing the power center.
Does it matter if the housing is cracked?
Yes. The enclosure is what keeps rain, irrigation spray and insects off live components. A broken housing turns a cosmetic problem into an electrical one.
