Millivolt controls

A millivolt heater uses the heat of its own standing pilot to generate the tiny voltage that opens the gas valve. That makes the control system simple and independent of a line voltage circuit, which is why millivolt heaters remain popular on remote installations and on systems where the owner wants the fewest possible electronics between the thermostat and the burner.

Polymer headers and a copper exchanger
