This is the replacement tank lid for the Jacuzzi CFR cartridge filters, covering the CFR 50, 75, 100 and 150. It is a new OEM part from Jacuzzi.

Part numbers

The lid is listed under two numbers, 4666-13A and 42-2998-00-R. Both refer to this part. If the number on your old lid has weathered off, go by the filter model instead.

What usually goes wrong

A tank lid fails in one of two ways. It cracks, typically as a hairline running from the rim after years of sun and clamping pressure, or it stops sealing. A crack means a new lid. A seal that weeps usually means the tank o-ring underneath is flat, and that is a separate and much cheaper part. Look at the old lid in good light before deciding which one you actually need.

Which filters does this lid fit?
The Jacuzzi CFR cartridge filters in the 50, 75, 100 and 150 sizes.
Why are there two part numbers?
This lid appears under both 4666-13A and 42-2998-00-R. Check what is stamped on the lid you are removing, and if neither number is legible, compare the filter model instead.
Does it include the o-ring or the clamp?
No. The tank o-ring and the clamp band are separate parts. If the lid was leaking rather than cracked, the o-ring is the more likely culprit.
Is this a genuine Jacuzzi part?
