The Pentair 51020900 is the two piece plastic clamp assembly that holds a top mount multiport valve to the filter body.
What it does
On a top mount filter, the multiport valve sits on the tank neck and is held down by a split clamp. The two halves wrap the joint and pull together on their bolts, and that clamping force is the only thing resisting system pressure trying to lift the valve off the tank. It is listed for 18 inch, 20 inch and 22 inch filter bodies.

Filter clamps come in a lot of near identical sizes, so measure before you order. This clamp has an outside diameter of 7-3/4 inches at the center of the clamp away from the bolts, 8-3/8 inches across at the part where the bolts go, and stands 15/16 inch top to bottom.
When to replace
Plastic goes brittle with years of sun, and bolt lugs crack when a clamp has been overtightened. A cracked clamp will still look assembled while letting the valve lift slightly under pressure, which shows up as a weep at the top of the tank or, at worst, a valve that separates. Replace it rather than trying to hold a split clamp together with more torque.
