The Hayward SP2615X202S is the two speed version of the Super Pump: a 2 horsepower max rated in-ground pool pump for 230 volt service, supplied with its switch.

Why two speeds

A single speed pump runs flat out whether the pool needs it or not. This one gives you a low speed for routine filtration, where the pump moves less water and draws much less power, and a high speed for the jobs that need real flow: vacuuming, running a heater, or filling a spa. Most owners find the pool stays just as clean on low for most of the day.

Service and parts

The Super Pump has been in the ground at hundreds of thousands of pools, which means seals, baskets, lids and impellers for it are easy to find and any service tech already knows the pump. That is a real advantage years after the install.

What does two speed actually save?
Low speed moves less water and draws far less power. Running the majority of the turnover on low and reserving high speed for vacuuming, heating or a spa is where the savings come from.
Does it come with the switch?
Yes. This version of the Super Pump is supplied with the switch, which is what the S at the end of SP2615X202S denotes.
What voltage does it need?
230 volts. Check that your pad is wired for 230V before ordering.
Is this an in-ground pump?
Yes. The Super Pump is an in-ground pool pump, not an above ground model.
