Product details

The Hayward BPWUS11120 is the white CrystaLogic LED bulb, rated 500W at 120 volts. It is the straightforward way to move an existing pool light over to LED without replacing the whole fixture.

What you get from the change

Hayward built CrystaLogic to be brighter, longer lasting and more energy efficient than the lighting it replaces, on residential and commercial pools alike. The practical benefit is not just the power bill. Changing a pool lamp means pulling the fixture out of the niche and onto the deck, and an LED that runs for years between changes is a job you do far less often.

Check before you order

This is the 120 volt, white light version. Confirm your fixture runs on 120 volts and that you want white rather than color changing light, since both are separate part numbers.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Is this white or color changing?
White. This is the white light CrystaLogic bulb.
What voltage does it need?
120 volts. Check the fixture and transformer before ordering, because a 12 volt niche needs a different lamp.
Is this a bulb or a complete fixture?
A bulb. It goes into an existing pool light fixture.
Why change to LED?
LED lighting draws less power for the light it produces and runs much longer between lamp changes, which matters when a change means pulling the fixture out of the wall.
