The Hayward W3H200FDN is the 200,000 BTU natural gas model in the Universal H-Series, a Low NOx pool and spa heater with an induced draft design.

What the Universal H-Series is for

Hayward built the line around the pool service professional: efficient, high performance and adaptable to the install in front of you rather than assuming one plumbing and venting layout. That flexibility is the reason the series turns up on so many retrofits, where the equipment pad was laid out for something else.

Low NOx

This is the Low NOx version. In a lot of regions that is not optional on a new heater, so check what your local code asks for before you buy. The heater is rated for both pool and spa duty.

Sizing and installation

200,000 BTU is the input rating. The right size for a given pool depends on the water volume, how long a season you want, and how much wind and shade the pool sees, so have the heater sized to the site. Gas heaters need correct gas supply, venting and clearances, which is work for a licensed installer.
