The Hayward FDXLHXA1150 is the replacement heat exchanger assembly for the Universal H-Series Low NOx H150FD heater. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied as a complete assembly.

Match it to your heater

The Universal H-Series Low NOx line runs from the H150FD up to the H400FD, and each size has its own exchanger. This one is for the H150FD. Check the model on the rating plate before ordering.

When it is time

The heat exchanger is where pool water takes heat from the burner, and it is the part that suffers most from poor water balance. Leaks from the cabinet, scale or corrosion at the header, or a heater that fires but no longer heats are the usual signs. If the inlet and outlet unions have hardened or cracked, Hayward sells a union connector kit separately so the whole water side can be renewed at once.
