The Pentair 460730 is the 200,000 BTU natural gas MasterTemp, with electronic ignition, digital temperature control and low NOx certification. It is sized for in ground residential pools and spas.

Built to be used, not managed

MasterTemp is designed to operate about as simply as a home furnace. Indicator lights on the panel tell you what the heater is doing without a manual, temperature is set digitally, and the display rotates so it stays readable no matter which direction the unit ends up facing on the pad. There is a manual gas shut-off on the heater itself for when it needs service.

Fast, quiet, compact

It heats up quickly, which matters most on a spa where nobody wants to wait. The cabinet is small for the output and the unit runs quietly, so it can sit close to a patio without dominating it. The exterior is rustproof and built to be left outside year round.

Emissions and efficiency

The heater is certified for low NOx emission and rated past the industry threshold for it, which matters in jurisdictions that require low NOx equipment. Efficiency is at the top of its class for a gas fired pool heater.
