The Pentair 475976 is the ignition control module for the ETi 400 pool heater. It is the genuine Pentair replacement part.
What it does
The ignition control module is the small controller that runs the light sequence. It calls for spark, opens the gas valve, watches for a proved flame and shuts things down if the flame does not appear. When that logic fails, the heater goes through the motions and never fires, or it lights and then drops out.
