Product details

The Pentair 475976 is the ignition control module for the ETi 400 pool heater. It is the genuine Pentair replacement part.

What it does

The ignition control module is the small controller that runs the light sequence. It calls for spark, opens the gas valve, watches for a proved flame and shuts things down if the flame does not appear. When that logic fails, the heater goes through the motions and never fires, or it lights and then drops out.

Before you order

Several different faults produce the same no heat symptom on an ETi 400, so have the heater diagnosed rather than swapping parts. Pentair lists the control board kit, the stack flue sensor and the condensate assembly as separate items for this heater, and any one of them can be the real cause.
