The Pentair R121216 is the replacement frame and net for the number 126 professional grade hand skimmer. It arrives as a single assembly, so the frame and the netting are both new.

When to replace it

A hand skimmer takes a beating. The net picks up snags and tears at the seam, and the frame slowly bends out of shape from scooping heavy loads of wet leaves. Once either one goes, the skimmer starts spilling debris back into the water. Replacing the head costs a fraction of a new skimmer and the pole you already own carries on working.
