Product details

The Sta-Rite C76-58P is the tank and trap body, the main casting of the pump. It combines the tank that the rest of the pump assembles onto with the trap body that carries the hair and lint basket.

Why it gets replaced

This is the part that a crack condemns. A hairline in the trap will pull air and cost the pump its prime, and a threaded boss that has broken out cannot be trusted to hold a lid or a plug under pressure. Neither repairs reliably, so the body is replaced.
