The Hayward SPX3000AA is the 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. pump housing and strainer, with drain plugs, for Hayward Super II SP3000 and SP3000X Series pumps.

What it does

The housing, often called the strainer pot, is the front section of the pump. It holds the strainer basket, connects the suction and return plumbing and carries the water to the impeller. The drain plugs let you empty the housing for winterizing or service.

Fit and compatibility

This housing is listed for the Super II family, models SP3000 and SP3000X, and has 1-1/2 in. ports on both sides. It is made of plastic and is the knob lid style of housing. Confirm that your pump is a Super II before ordering, and match the 1-1/2 inch port size to your plumbing.
