Hayward 2 HP Super Pump Drive Train Upgrade Kit

The Hayward SPX2615CKIT rebuilds the drive train of a 2 HP Super Pump in one order. Inside the box are the motor mounting plate, seal plate, mechanical seal, impeller, diffuser and diffuser o-ring: all of the pump internals that sit between the motor and the strainer housing.

Why buy the kit

These parts wear together. A shaft seal that has been leaking usually means a scored seal plate, and a tired impeller drags the diffuser with it. Replacing the set restores flow and stops the leak without a second round of parts, and it is the sensible companion to a new motor.

Fit

The kit is for 2 HP Super Pumps in the SP1600, SP1600X, SP2600 and SP2600X series. Other horsepower ratings use their own kits, so check the motor label before ordering. The housing, strainer basket and strainer cover gasket are not part of this kit.
