Product details

The Hayward SPX2605CKIT is the 3/4 HP drive train upgrade kit for the Super Pump. It takes the drive train of an older SP1600X series pump up to the SP2600X series, so an aging pump gets current internals rather than another set of the same worn parts.

What is included

The kit supplies the impeller in 3/4 HP uprated, the seal plate, the housing gasket, the diffuser and the mechanical seal. Those are the parts that wear as a set on the wet end, so replacing them together is the difference between a pump that performs like new and one that is merely running again.

Before you order

The kit is horsepower specific. Read the horsepower off the motor label and confirm you have a 3/4 HP pump, then check the pump body against the SP1600X series before you commit. Once the pump is apart, the mechanical seal in the kit means there is no reason to reuse the old one.
