The Hayward SPX2607CKIT is the drive train upgrade kit for a 1 HP Super Pump. It is the genuine Hayward kit, and it does two jobs at once: it renews the parts that wear, and it brings the drive train of an older SP1600X series pump up to the SP2600X series.

What is in it

Why rebuild the whole drive train

These parts wear together. An impeller that has lost efficiency usually sits behind a mechanical seal that has been weeping and a diffuser with a tired o-ring. Doing them in one go means the pump comes apart once instead of twice a season apart.
