Product details

This is the Hayward SPX1600SKIT1 seal plate kit for Super Pumps between 1/2 and 1-1/2 horsepower. It supplies three parts together: the seal plate SPX2600E5, the motor mounting plate SPX1600F5 and the mechanical seal SPX1600-Z-2.

Why buy the kit

The mechanical seal is the part that usually fails, but a seal that has been leaking often takes the seal plate with it. Buying them together means the sealing face and the seal are both new, which is the difference between a repair that holds and one that weeps again in a month.
