Hayward 3/4 HP to 3 HP Impeller Ring, 2-3/4 in. OD

The Hayward SPX3021R is the Max-Rate impeller ring for 3/4 HP to 3 HP pumps. It is a plastic ring, 2-3/4 in. outside diameter and 2-3/16 in. inside diameter, with SP3021R molded on the part.

Fit

It is used on the Super II SP3000 and SP3000X, the Northstar in both the 1998 to 2007 and 2008 to current designs, and the TriStar SP3200 and SP3200EE. Measure the old ring against the dimensions above to be sure.

Why it matters

The impeller ring is the wear surface at the impeller eye. As it wears, the clearance opens up, water recirculates inside the pump and flow falls off. It is a cheap part to replace whenever the pump is apart for a seal or an impeller.
