Hayward SPX3200Z8 is the diffuser screw set for TriStar pumps, supplied two per pack. It is listed against the TriStar range including the SP3200 and SP3200EE, and the screws are metal.

What they hold

The diffuser sits over the impeller and has to be held firmly in position for the pump to build the flow it is rated for. These are the screws that clamp it there. They are small, they live in wet and chemically treated water, and they are removed every time the wet end is opened for a seal or impeller job.

Usually because the originals are corroded, the heads have rounded off, or they were dropped and lost during a rebuild.
