Hayward TriStar Pump Strainer Housing 2" x 2" with Drain Plugs, Threaded

The Hayward SPX3200A is the strainer housing for the TriStar pump. It is the front pot that holds the basket and connects the suction and discharge plumbing, sold here as the genuine Hayward part.

Connections

Both ports are 2 in. threaded, and the housing comes with its drain plugs. It fits the TriStar SP3200 and SP3200EE and is also used on the Hayward EcoStar.

A cracked housing, usually from a freeze or from overtightened fittings, is one of the few TriStar failures that cannot be fixed with a seal or o-ring. This is the housing only. Reuse your existing basket, lid and lid o-ring, or replace them at the same time if they are worn.
