Why buy new hardware
Mounting foot screws sit low on the equipment pad, in the splash and the damp, and they corrode. The usual discovery is that a screw rounds off or shears halfway through a pump service, and what should have been a quick job becomes drilling and retapping. Fitting new screws when the old ones look rough costs very little next to that.
