Product details

The Hayward SPX3000M is the factory strainer basket for Super II pool pumps, and it is also listed under the number B-207. It measures 5.75 inches by 8.75 inches and is molded in plastic.

What the basket does

Everything the skimmer misses arrives at the pump. The strainer basket catches leaves, twigs and hair before the water reaches the impeller, which is why a basket that has split at the rim or cracked through the wall is worth changing straight away. Debris that gets past a broken basket lodges in the impeller vanes and starves the pump of flow.

Check the size first

Hayward uses several basket sizes across its pump lines, and they do not swap. Pull your old basket and check it against the 5.75 inch by 8.75 inch dimensions before ordering.
