Product details

Hayward SPX3020CKIT pairs the impeller and the diffuser for Super II pumps rated 2 HP full rate or 2-1/2 HP max rate. It is the genuine Hayward kit for that wet end.

Why they are sold together

The impeller runs inside the diffuser at a close clearance, and that clearance is what turns motor speed into pressure. Both parts wear. Fitting a new impeller into a diffuser that is already worn opens the gap back up and gives you only some of the flow you were after, so Hayward supplies the two as a kit.

Super II pumps come in several ratings and the impeller is specific to each. Read the horsepower and whether the pump is full rated or max rated off the motor plate. Hayward lists this kit for Super II pumps built in 1989.

What you should see afterwards
