Product details

The Hayward SPX3010C is the genuine replacement impeller for Super II pumps rated 1 HP full rate and 1-1/2 HP max rate. It carries SP3010-C stamped into the outer face, which is the marking to check against the impeller you take out.

Matching the part

Hayward built the Super II across a range of horsepowers and each one uses its own impeller, so the number matters more than the label on the motor. Take the old impeller off, read the stamp on the outer face, and match it. If it reads SP3010-C, this is the part.

What a worn impeller looks like

Flow at the returns falls off, filter pressure sits lower than it used to, and the motor sounds perfectly healthy while it happens. Either the vanes are packed with debris that will not clear, or they have worn thin. Once the impeller is out and the vanes are visibly rounded off or broken, the pump will not get its performance back without a new one.

How do I confirm this is the right impeller?
Pull the old one and look at the outer face. This impeller is stamped SP3010-C, and the Hayward part number is SPX3010C.
