What a worn impeller looks like
Flow at the returns falls off, filter pressure sits lower than it used to, and the motor sounds perfectly healthy while it happens. Either the vanes are packed with debris that will not clear, or they have worn thin. Once the impeller is out and the vanes are visibly rounded off or broken, the pump will not get its performance back without a new one.
