Product details

The Pentair ZBR39330 is the hydraulic kit for the Boost-Rite universal booster pump. It is the genuine Pentair service kit.

What a booster pump does

A pressure side pool cleaner runs on a dedicated stream of high pressure water. The filter pump alone will not supply it, so a small booster pump takes filtered water and pushes it down the cleaner line. When the booster loses output, the cleaner slows down, stops climbing, and eventually stops covering the pool.

Why the hydraulics wear

The hydraulic parts are the components inside the pump that actually move water. They run whenever the cleaner runs, in water that carries fine grit, and they lose efficiency as clearances open up. A motor can be in perfect health while the wet end has quietly given up half its pressure.

Before you order

Check the simple things first. A dirty filter, a split cleaner hose or a worn out cleaner all produce the same complaint as a tired booster. If the booster is genuinely down on output, this kit is the normal repair and costs far less than a replacement pump.

It is the wet end service set, the moving water parts of the pump rather than the motor. These are the components that wear and lose efficiency.
My pressure cleaner has gotten weak. Will this help?
If the booster itself has lost output, rebuilding the hydraulics is the normal fix. Rule out a clogged filter, a leaking hose and a worn cleaner first, because all three look the same from the pool deck.
