The Waterway 711-2100 is the replacement seal for the 1 inch air control valve. It is the genuine Waterway Plastics part.

What the seal does

An air control lets you blend air into the jet stream, and the stem inside it turns every time somebody adjusts the jets. The seal is what keeps water on the water side while that stem moves. When it hardens or wears, two things show up: water weeping out around the control, and a knob that has become stiff and gritty to turn.

Before you order

This is the seal for the 1 inch air control body. Waterway builds air controls in more than one size, so confirm you have the 1 inch valve before ordering. The seal alone is a fraction of the cost of a complete valve, and in most cases it is the only thing that has failed.
