Pentair 51016200 is the replacement o-ring for the Pac-Fab and ComPool diverter valves in both the 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch sizes, and it serves the 2 way and 3 way versions alike.

What it seals

The o-ring sits between the valve cover and the valve body. It is the only thing holding pressure at that joint, so when it hardens, flattens or takes a set from years of chlorine and heat, water starts to weep out around the lid. Owners often blame a cracked body when a two dollar seal is the real cause.

Before you fit it

The manufacturer information for this part is not consistent about the size designation. The product name calls it #2-151 and the description calls it #2-152, though both refer to Pentair part number 51016200.
