Product details

The Pentair 476059 is the burner assembly for the ETI 400 pool heater, supplied as the complete factory assembly.

What the burner does

The burner assembly is where gas and air are mixed and fired to heat the exchanger above it. Everything downstream depends on that flame being clean and even, so a burner that has corroded, distorted or filled with debris turns into slow heating, unreliable ignition and, eventually, a heater that will not run at all.

A repair worth making

Burners take the hardest life of any part of the heater. Replacing the assembly is the usual way to bring an otherwise sound ETI 400 back rather than replacing the whole appliance, and it is a defined part with a defined fit.

Installation

This is gas work. Burner replacement, gas connections and the combustion check afterward belong with a qualified pool heater technician.
