The Pentair 356755 is the pump housing for the EQ Series High Performance Commercial Pump, listed by Pentair as item 22, Housing - EQ Series, in the pump's illustrated parts list.

Fit

Pentair uses the one housing part number across its 6 in by 4 in EQ Series pumps, from the 3 HP EQ300 up to the 15 HP EQK1500, including the three phase K models and the EQKT models. Pentair describes the EQ Series as a commercial plastic pump for commercial pools, a drop-in replacement for C Series and CSP pumps, with a Cam and Ramp see-thru lid.

What goes with the housing

The housing is the front housing of the pump. The motor end assembly is held to it by four 5/8-11 brass nuts (356776z), and it is sealed by the seal plate O-ring (356780z) and the diffuser O-ring (350037z). The drain plug is 357161z with its own O-ring, 192115z. The strainer pot is a separate assembly, 356725 for the pot, with its own lid gasket (350166z) and pot flange O-ring (350013z).

Before you order

Check the model on the pump label and match 356755 against the parts list in Pentair's EQ Series guide. Pentair says to drain the pump and lock out power before opening it, and to lubricate the O-rings with silicone when you reassemble so they do not pinch.
